Nancy Dowell

Nancy Dowell, age 91, of Salem passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Born July 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Medlock and Katherine (Clark) Fess.

Nancy was a retired bookkeeper and a member of the Blue River Friends Quaker church.

She is survived by her 2 children, Keith Swann and Tina Dowell; daughter-in- law, Gloria Dowell; son-in-law, Corkey Vance; 1 brother; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Jeri Lynn Vance; 1 son, Bruce Dowell; and 2 sisters.

A Graveside service will be held Sunday, April 28, at 2:00 P.M. at Blue River Friends Cemetery.

Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.
