Jug Rock is a natural sandstone geological formation often referred to as a "Tea Table" or as a "Stand Rock". Jug Rock is the largest largest free-standing table rock formation east of the Mississippi River. Jug Rock is currently part of a nature preserve owned by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Jug Rock is sixty feet high and twenty feet in diameter and until you stand at the base of Jug Rock it is hard to really appreciate the true massive size of the formation.
